Be Thankful

My main purpose of starting this blog is to write about things that interest me most.    I am into herbs and oils and flowers and I hope to bring you information that will benefit you.  I love creating healthy alternative products with what nature has to offer.  I create Artisan Soaps and Spa Products and these items are sold on my Etsy shop.

I will delve more into this as the days and weeks go by, but today, just to acquaint myself with you, I want to post a  blog I wrote last year, especially since we are now into the season of Thanksgiving.  I hope you enjoy it.

Be Thankful

We are in a season of Thankfulness and there are many things to be thankful for, even when you think that life looks bleak.  I know, I get it as I have been there before.  After the dust settled, I realized how thankful I was for so many things.  Things could have been a lot worse, but I came through it.

Today I am thankful that I get to have another day.  God has chosen this day for me so that I could accomplish much more.  I have purpose in this life and I strive to be the best person I can be.  I am polite, and I enjoy being helpful.

Another reason I am thankful is that I have a job. Granted, there are times I  don’t want to be there, yet, I am ever so grateful I am working.  Not too many people can say that.  It is unfortunate they are in that position and they have legitimate reasons not to smile.  Yet, surprisingly, there are many who have great attitudes about their situation.

Family is a great reason to be thankful. I don’t know where I would be without the support of my family.  They are everything to me.

If you are unhappy about a situation you are going through, turn it around into a positive. Being thankful can help you through the difficult situations in life.  Take time daily to be thankful for all that exists in your life, including the difficulties you are experiencing as they may just make you a stronger individual.  Don’t let negative emotions rule you. When you begin to look for the positive in your life, the negative emotions can dissipate.

By daily practicing gratitude/thankfulness, it will become a way of life for you.  So today, start thinking about all that is good in your life and remember that the rest of your life is the best of your life!
